Vacuum DC motors have high starting torque, operate at high speed, and create vacuum pressure and suction by a rotating motor fan. The motor works in connection with a brush or nozzle which suctions water or debris through a pipe or hose and into a collector. All air is filtered through the exhaust filter to keep debris or water in the vacuum while expelling clean air. Vacuum motors are commonly used in commercial canister vacuums, material handling, and central vacuuming systems.
